We go back in time to the gold rush history of Yukon and Alaska on this fascinating tour from Whitehorse. On this route we'll discover the scenery along the historic White Pass & Yukon railway, we'll visit the charming town of Carcross, admire the colors of Emerald Lake, walk in the 'world's smallest desert', cross the White Pass from Yukon to Alaska and discover the beautifully costal town of Skagway. The stampeders set out on their journey to 'the last great gold rush' from Skagway in hopes of finding gold in Dawson City.
We will step on the historic White Pass & Yukon Route train and join the ride through the rouged mountains between coast and the mountains, enjoying the same view as gold miners more than 100 years ago.

  • I flew to Whitehorse only for 1 night in the hope to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). It was a risk as they don't come out every night, but it paid off. At approx 3am the lights came out and it was spectacular.
